Default Any benefit to running 317 heads on 5.3 Turbo?

Will they lower the compression ratio too much? I want to do a Turbo 5.3, just a guy offered to give me a set of 317's. Didn't know which heads would be best.

TIA

It will drop the compression about a point and make it slow out of boost

I ran them.... unless you are restricted to 87 octane I wouldnt run them again. It will be as fast as a cool summer breeze out of boost, and spool slower.
