Unhappy Stuck input drum 4l60e

Can't remove input drum from transmissions. I have read a few threads but nothing has worked. I yanked and rotated, even put the bell housing back on and tryed dropping it on cardboard. it seems that I may have moved it up some after hours of yanking but I am not positive. Any suggestions? I'm thinking about ordering a used one on ebay, just have to get this bugger out.

Thanks,
TJ

The input housing. Reverse input came out easy. I think the 3-4 clutches are bad.

Thanks.

It sounds like the 3/4 clutches ate the outside planet that they sit on. Wow thats not good cause theres a small snap ring in the center that holds the output shaft in. I have no ideas. I would be trying the same thing you are doing! Good luck

Did you remove the small snap ring around the shaft at the bottom of the clutch pack? It's usually yellow

UPDATE

Left the transmission upside down with the bell-housing facing the ground over night. Next day i picked it up and on first drop came right out. 3-4 clutches were fried (spacers wore out?)

Im going to order 5 clips with that 10 springs since they are all different sizes.

Does anyone prefer soaking the clutches or installing dry and letting it naturally lube itself?

Thanks for the help

Soaking clutches for at least 10 minutes is always a good idea once you get your clutch clearance set.
