226/226 vs 228/230
My buddy is wants to get a cam for his WS6, and he wants to get a cam from Futral motorsports, but he cant decide between the 226/226 on a 114 lsa (F4) or the cam i have which is the (F11) 228/230 on a 114 lsa. Would there be a big difference between the two for driveability and for power.
Thanks, John

I actually have not dynoed or tuned it since i had my little B1 cam. I can say though that the F11 pulls much harder but there is still more left in her since its still on my other cams tune. Cant wait to get it dyno tuned and see what she can do.

A T1 is quite a bit smaller than both cams listed. Not to mention the old lobes the T1 is cut off of.. I would think you would pick up across the board quite a bit with the F11 over the T1.... LowEtz on here went from a T1 to the F11 and picked up 17rwhp peak and about 15/20 across the board.. This was with TEA 1.5 heads. Also on the T1 tuning. He should have some new #s on the 26th when Allan comes to Atlanta to tune a few cars.

Thanks for the info.
Hope to pickup atleast that amount of hp!
What will heads do for this package?
What do you recommend as far as heads for this package!
PP has a good price but, i want max. power with this cam!
Thanks

I see that you are new here. The heads you mentioned have quite a bit of feedback around here, search for them and read some of their reviews before making a decision. A couple other heads to consider are TEA and Absolute. Don't buy heads until you compare everything out there, to ensure you get the best option for your goals.

Why are you getting those on a 114? They are too big too pass emissions anyway, and with a cam that has duration like that, getting a 114 with make you have a late intake valve close point (like 47 or so degrees ABDC) and you will have to spin the motor way way up to make max power. just a thought.
