Default Stock FGT vs Stock F458

Good stuff. Wish they did a few more but how often do you getto see cars of this caliber streetrace in the daytime with decent video?

I didn't expect it to be so one sided.
In fact, I expected a pretty dead even heat with the 458 edging the FGT out.

Looked like the GT got out it then back in it and walked it hard.

My friends father has that same colored FGT, took us damn near a half hour just to get to the battery. But it was nice to see Ford put an Optima red top in it from the factory and strategically put it dead center in the front compartment for weight.

Also for me being 6'4 280, i actually fit better in that then i do a C6. Car is awesome.

Ill whoop your nfl playin azz all over town Andre the Giant... J/k

You fit in the fgt easily.. Wow. That car is just 44 inches tall. Very well desighned car. Probaly my favorite car in the world.

I was surprised as well by the outcome. But american torque can surprise many. But I think the f458 looked like it was gonna catch and pass if they stayed in it

Yea I was suprised myself, but the bottom of the seat is virtually even with the floor.hardest part was getting out because of the way the door opens and it sitting so low to the ground.

You sure that FGT doesn't have a pulley?

This is reason I don't believe the outcome from the video you posted:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCIznaXzkkk

and this:

And from what I know Ford GTs and the C6 Z are dead heat at normal conditions.

The first video you posted was the first thing that came to my mind when I watched the race.

hitman you are correct! The f458 owner just told me that the fgt is modded to 750 hp.... Why dont they put this kinda stuff in the descriptions ect? Even the fgt forum never mentioned the fgt being modded..... Now the f458 is fully stock

Id take the fgt over the f458. Atleast that way your not "that guy" with the Ferrari. I have never EVER seen a cool Ferrari owner. I've seen about a dozen while driving and they just ignore you while your trying to give them props for the sweet ride.

Well you and 122 other people have tried to give them props during their 20 minute car ride. People who dont even care about cars care when they see a ferarri. In many states seeing a ferrari is like seeing a small tornado. You may not really care about weather but youll still slow down and observe the raw beauty and then excitedly tell your friends what you saw.

Ive seem maybye 7 ferraris cruising the street in my life

Awesome cars and cool vid. I absolutely love the FGT.

About 4 years back while on my R6, a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale (red w/ white center stripe exterior) came up and passed me heading northbound on I-39 just south of Rockford IL. I was in total awe as the rare beauty slowly passed. Rare as in 1,288 total production. I tried giving the gentleman driving it a thumbs up but he wouldn't look over. Ah well I say, I didn't care. I was just grateful for being in the right place at the right time.

Please stop posting up videos of races that you're not in or even present for! That is all

That FGT does not have 750, it would have walked it much worse than that trust me. I can tell though that it does at least have exhaust, and more than likely a pulley. That would explain the outcome much better.
