wanna stroke my ls1.. with H/C combo
alright i wanna stroke my ls1 out to a 373 stroker. i wanna go with the tsp 228r cam bc it has enough horsepower to give that i want out of it. but i slumped on what kind of heads to go with because i have no clue bc i dont know stroking out my engine will make a difference.. any help guys?

even if i dont end up stroking it out thinking the 228r cam with a set of 243 ported will still get me over 400+ im hoping.. or port out my 241 with a valve job will do the trick.
i need to make over 400 i cant have my buddies mustang beat the new 5.0 mustangs and my car while he has a cammed 4.6 jus can not allow it.
but real more importantly ive been wanting to cam out my car and with a good budget now im not sure how to get my set up goin. /:

I would recommend looking into the Torquer V2 and our PRC 2.5 5.3 cylinder heads. This setup will have great drivability and power. Plus the 5.3 heads will get you beyond your rwhp goal and fit the bill on a budget minded setup.

i was looking at them on your site a couple hours ago. but didnt know if it comes complete with the whole valvetrain setup. and with the valvetrain, such as the rods i am not sure what size to go with. bang for the buck, i know it will be worth it in the end.. so what do you think if i do even stroking it out, will it still put a great output even with a solid tune with that h/c? its still my DD till i get me something else for a DD.. jus thought that with the money now, i can get what i want in my car before having to make payments on something else and that will only set me back farther to get my goals done on my car.

and also i was thinking, with the prc 2.5 5.3l heads will it be a better match with the v3 might as well go with a little bigger cam than that?
but either way would you recommend a newer timing chain, oil pump? i wanna do this the right way and not have to go back and forget something down the road..
