Shopping for an WS-6 TA : Where to look...
I'm going to be looking to buy a 2001/2002 TA WS-6 in the Spring.
What are some reliable sites to do some shopping on other than E Bay.
I'll be looking for a low mileage car - around 20K or under.

For a quality low mileage car like you are seeking, try www.hemmings.com or even www.autotrader.com. Don't get complacent doing your homework on these low mileage cars. Fluids should have been changed, just due to age, and make sure the title is clear, and the Carfax clean. If the tires are original, allow $600-$800 for new rubber. Allow several hundred dollars at least for maintenance if nothing has ever been done, especially if you have to take the car to a shop. These are all valid negotiating points. Do not be afraid to travel to get the right car. The owner should be willing to talk to you for long periods of time on the phone and provide numerous photos if you show you are serious. That way you don't waste a long trip for nothing. Good luck with your search when the time comes.

Craigslist, from what I've seen WS6s are overpriced on autotrader. A nice condition WS6 with low miles is worth around 12 to 14, more for a rare color. I'm sick of seeing ones with over 80K and only bolt ons.asking for 12K. If you have that money to spend why not buy a C5? Or even a ZO6? They are going for under 20 with reasonable miles on them.

Also ref Autotrader, these are asking prices. If owners don't budge on an overpriced car, they can sit on it until they get the message. Most will negotiate with a serious buyer. My neighbor started negotiations on a different type sports car that started out at $22,000. After numerous phone calls, photos, and no on else inquiring at that high of a price, my neighbor bought the car for $15,000 just one month later.

I bought mine last spring on Craigslist, I talked to him for 4 months before he came down enough. I got a 2000 Trans Am with 58,000 miles, all original in great shape for $8,000, he had it listed for $12,900(Which was NADA Value). I thought that was a decent deal.
I had to trailer mine home February but I got a good deal.

Of all places, I found mine on craigslist. That was the last place I thought I would find a low mile car in decent condition for a fair price. Good luck trying to talk someone down on a car that's listed 7k over blue book. I used searchtempest, it allows you to search and use all cities in the US within a certain mileage range.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've seen a handful out there with really low mileage - under 10K - but almost all of them seem to be overpriced (to me). But as NCO1TA said - these are asking prices.
I really like this one but I think he's high on the price by a few grand - and there's no other option other than his starting bid. Not the way I would have listed the car - but it's not my car. He did have 600 people look at it already which is pretty respectable...

This ebay example is just wishful thinking by the owner. I'm sure it is nice but a 3 owner car with 21,000+ miles for $20,000?? No wonder there are no bids. Even if he was the original owner that price is too high. $20,000+ pricing for F-bodies is reserved for a sub 10,000 miles car or maybe even a near perfect sub 15,000 miles car with one or 2 owners. If it was a CETA one owner, then maybe.
I'll probably make him an offer in the Spring if it's still available.

I just bought a 2001 WS6 last week. They wanted $16,900 but I talked them down to $15,300. It only has 21,XXX on the odometer and I love it. It only had one owner also, who happened to be an 80yr old guy.
