Default Halos for 75$?

I have the chance to pick up halos for 75 dollars, I know that a lot of people have had fitment issues with them, just wanted to get some opinions on whether they are worth it? Ill post some pics soon

never heard of fitment issues, people just hate them because they're ugly, if you don't wire the halo's in and you black them out they don't look bad though

Good idea!
I had some but after a month took them apart, threw away the halo insert, did the Whistler mod to them and never looked back.

That is a much better approach than buying those used Halo housings.

Which projectors are you going with?

I'm not really sure to be honest don't really know much about them. Probably one that is more on the easy side, I'm in the process of moving and don't have all of my tools and shop stuff yet

The easiest to install in the stock housings that still has pretty good output is the Morimoto Mini-H1 projector available at The Retrofit Source.

Here is one example of them installed in a 1998-2002 Camaro:

There are OEM and Aftermarket HID projectors available with better output but they aren't nearly as easy to install and the Morimoto Mini-H1 does have pretty good output (way better than ebay stuff and close to the FX-R which is a replica of the OEM FX projector with some changes).
