Default Interior work

So, I finally got around to a little project I've wanted to do for a while. I painted my console and dash parts. I know many of you are groaning at the mention, but I think it can look good if done right (no bright red, yellow, etc.). I used base/clear polyurethane I had for my other car - town car. I like the way it turned out. The existing plastic was faded into different, clashing shades of gray and green. Ugly ****.

Looks good! You should do the pieces around the door openers too.

Not too shabby! Makes the rest of your interior look................ not good, though.

I know! I plan to wrap the dash in leather, the door panels in leather and black suede. I have an overall plan, but it will take some time to come to fruition.

Looks nice,Like juicestain said paint around door handle and controls. Also paint around the guage bezel to complete the look. I have all the interior parts painted in my car and I get all kinds of compliments at shows.Looks much better then dull plastic.IMO

I hear ya.. I've been doing some minor interior work myself. Black plastic with tan carpets and tan door panels. I'll post pics when I get a chunk done. I need a dash mat though. Can't see **** out of the windshield when the sun is on it. And I haven't armorall'd it in quite a while either.

The un-painted parts are calling for some much needed attention.

Looks like they came out pretty nice. And yest, do the same for the door handle bezels, window control trim, and instrument cluster bezel.
