or you could be different from every other ls1 owner and not contribute to slp's horrible company. (overpriced crap, all of it) the slp loudmouth is raspy as hell and sounds like a bag of ***. you want mods?
free ram air or true ram air kit
air box lid ( any company there all the same)
bigger TB that is p/p, dont get a bigger MAF its a waste
intake if you dont have a ls6 intake, or just get a FAST intake
heads, PRC from texas speed or AFR, or pickup a set of stock heads and port them
headers, long tubes. bbk has best clearance but kooks has best hp gains.
exhaust, best sound=true duals. next best? any aftermarket y (not slp) with a cutout. if you want a catback system then corsa, borla, kooks, spintech are all favorites of mine.
next suspension, LCA's sway bar, panhard rod, torque arm, drag radials.
better spark plugs and wires, and a full engine tune up.
computer tune, mail order or dyno
all of these are bolt on and all will net you some gain

You already have a slp loud mouth? Long tube headers, exhaust, lid are a good start. being a 02 You already have the ls6 intake i do believe. about the loud mouth...I hope you dont mind your exhaust being raspy they are for sure loud but that rasp is not for me. I have heard they make decent power though. I really like the borla cat back systems they are a little pricey but they are such good quality and sound excellent! Hope this helps!

if your on a budget pace setter longtubes, tsp ory (off road y pipe) Cat back of your choice like i said earlier borla is where its at but if on a budget go from there. I have seen some exhaust shops that will run true duals back that dump before the axle for around 450 ish could run into clearance issues later on though but true duals sound great. dont know what kind of emissions test you have to pass?

Bolt On Dyno Results
I posted this on LS1.com a while back. I had my car dynoed before and after my bolt-on mods to see my results.

Man, not as much of a gain as I thought you would get from all of those mods. Not that a 37hp ans 23tq gain is bad, but I figured you could get at least 25-30hp from the headers and exhaust alone. Maybe my expectations are a bit too high.
Thanks for that Mark, it helped a lot.

Yep, that's what most people say...

Yep... that's why I posted it... and why I paid for the before & after dyno runs... Wanted to sort through the hype.
Even so, something to consider here is not all of my mods contribute to power increase. Some were made for other reasons. Anyway, the vast majority of increase probably came from the headers/exhaust, and the tune. There is probably a minimal to no gain from the thermostat, lid, bellows, K&N and ram-air mod (remember, no ram air sitting still on a dyno). The rest were simply to freshen things up, and in the case of the catch cans, to catch the excess blow-by generated by lots of WOT and Gs since I take my car to the road coarse
Another thing to consider is only looking at peak numbers doesn't tell the whole story. Yes, peak torque increase is only 23ft-lb, but changes at certain RPMs are greater (e.g. 30ft-lb difference at 6,000rpm, and almost 40ft-lbs at 5,500rpm).

The loudmouth is the best flowing system. If I raced the car I wouldnt run cats, but on the street I think the cats give it a great tone. I honestly dont even think my car is that loud.

hell yeah i did. i laugh when i see people with the paragraph of mods for a sig, till you start reading it and its all like,
"new floormats from chevy mall, autozone patch repair kit for rip in my passenger seat, skull and crossbones seat covers, weight reduction kit (rust), cell phone car charger, and previously used riken raptor street tires,
14.6 in the 1/4 @ 98mph. yea im ****** bad.
not joking ive seen something similar to this before,

I would go with a lid (or the KN FIPK cold air kit)
Long tubes (either BBK for budget with an ORY) or some ARH/Kooks Headers
Let me know if you need any good deals on parts!
