Default LS3 418 Stroker 2004 GTO

Well after throwing a rod back in October on a Lil' LS1 after 101,000 miles I decided to go bigger. So I purchased a new LS3 Block w/ Forged Callies Crank/rods and coated Diamond pistons and stroked it to a 418cid. Cam was a Pat G grind 251/258 660/598 111+4 LSA. Due to funds I had to reuse my stock topend but did get a set of 243 heads. Upgraded to 42# greentop injectors, new Hinson motor mounts and a new 1-pc driveshaft from The DSS and of course all the required goodies. Well the numbers are 475hp/468tq. I know I should crest the 500 mark once I get better heads, intake and a throttle body but going to enjoy what I have until Fall. So I attached a pic of the dyno since my scanner is down. Click my link below to see a quick vid I took Saturday. Tell me what you think? Thanks

Apart from the exhaust and the note of that FAT cam it's a sleeper for sure. Nice looking car. You'll make some good number when you have the top end upgraded.

This thing sounds great! gives me a woody, Im rollin with the same type of setup, can only imagine what that 418 would put down with a fast 92 and decent set of heads

Thanks for the compliments guys. Yeah the big cam definately gets some looks at the gas station (which I frequent a lot) getting 11mpg and I love stop lights. With the car shaking and exhaust it's fun to see people looking around for that noise. lol. haha

that curve is incredible. Not so much a curve as a tabletop. looks very fun to drive.

That is a crazy large cam but you have the cubes to support it. Beautiful torque curve. It sounds awesome but I'd be afraid to drive it around town. That must get the attention of every cop in your zip code. I see you have one of the original hand made intakes. Those were a lot of work and I like seeing they live on.

Thanks for bringing this back up lol. It's been a blast to drive this last 8 months and I have put almost 10k miles on it. Drives like it has a big cam but my stall helps out greatly. Need to replace axles next and upgrade the rear end then onto the heads/intake Thanks again guys. Also get about 12-13 mpg. DAYUM.

Haven't been pulled over since the motor but I do have to peddle around the cops. also your intake is F'n awesome. My tuner said its the Best intake he has seen on any of the GTO's he has personally tuned. I love the hand made look, It means I am "special". lol. Thanks again man.

I havent taken it to the track...ever..lol. But will do once I upgrade some other parts. It's also a daily driver and I would hate to tear it up at the track. Yeah the heads and intake are really holding it back but that means I have plenty of room to grow. thanks.
