Default What carb style intake?

Like it says I'm thinking about selling my fast and getting a carb style intake. Not sure what would be best though. Looking for suggestions

Car is a forged 346 with afr heads and pt76gts. The car made 832rwhp 804rwtq on pump gas and 18 pounds so the car makes awesome power but I'm going bigger turbo soon and want to run a carb style intake and an elbow. Which ones have the best results?

Thanks guys

Why do you want a carb style intake ? With a elbow they have poor airflow distribution
Your better off with the fast intake , if you insist on upgrading look at sheetmetal intakes or the proflo or holly hi-ram

What intake do you currently have ?

And more importantly. How much hood clearance do you have ? That's going to dictate which intake and elbow you have room for.
I'm sure it would make sense that the taller the intake the better, and again the smoothest elbow the better. Both of those mean a very tall clearance height.

Like other have said on a carb style the elbows tend to hurt flow...

I run a vic Jr with a Fast 4150 4 barrel style throttle body and a carb hat..

I don't know how much hood clearance you have but here are a few pics...

Before powder coating..

I'd have previously said the ProFlo would be better. I'm not convinced now it has sufficient plenum volume though to make it worthwhile

A tall carb intake with proper elbow could be better

Or an LS6 lol

The FAST 92 is a good intake, much, much better than the FAST 90. I wouldn't worry about your 92, it is a very good intake manifold. Bob
