Valve cover breather
I was just wondering if their would be any harm/benefit of going to a breather in place of the oil fill cap. They're no way I'd try to remove my pcv system just curious what having both would do, if anything. Thanks

It would kill the vacuum in your crankcase, opening it to atmospheric pressure instead. It would also create a massive vacuum leak.
So you'd lose the benefit of crankcase vacuum to help ring sealing, while losing intake vacuum. With no upside in terms of engine performance.

i dont agree with that statement without knowing how your current pcv system is set up. for some people, a breather cap instead of the normal oil cap is the normal way to go.
with the ls6 valley cover vacuum can be held in the crackcase while running a breather on the oil cap.

but still there is no real benefit from having a breather on the car for performance and also you will start to get a lot of "peanut butter" color milky residue build up with a breather.

I guess i should state that my car is not a daily driver. i run a breather on the drivers valve cover and the pass oil fill cap is a breather. i run my valley cover to a catch can then to the intake. this is how A LOT of people are set up like. probly also not daily drivers though.
