Default Speed Inc. tweaking the build to better my 7.52

Last year was my best with the car yet, running a best of 7.52 and 194.9 mph, but with the cars in the LSx DR class we have to up the game!

Talking with Jim, Dan and Tom @ Speed Inc. we're looking to lose some race weight. @ 3470 lbs at the last race it's just too much. The car and driver need a serious diet!

Dan is going to fab up some new headers, we need more space for the larger compressor covers covering the new billet wheels!

We are double checking the fuel system as we were at 99.6% duty cycle on the last few runs?!?! Updated the converter, it was slipping pretty bad! You should have smelt the fluid, ask Dan LOL!!!

I've been talking with Eric @ Midwest chassis about some upgrades to the suspension. He was very helpful in getting the car down the track at the final two races!! See vid, straight as a arrow. http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...13267697461523

We are looking to up the boost but still keep it safe. I was VERY happy that we had NO break downs all season. Never even nipped a plug. Just changed the oil and put in three sets of plugs all year.

We are still looking to stay with the coil overs and wet sump.

I'll post up some pics as we start doing the headers.

Good luck with it man. You've worked hard to have a "reliable" race car and that's something to commend you on for sure! 2012 should be a good one for you!

LOL,and Thanks!
Dan and Tom will kill Jim now!!

Hey Kurt, I had 16 96lb hr injectors. I'm thinking it was because I was running the fuel pump on the 12v side of my 16v battery. Magnafuel said it needs to be on the 16v side, The pump now sounds WAY different!!! I'm thinking that was it. I need to give you a call on a possible motor freshen up. Check out and replace bearings.
