Default What kind of system to go with

Thinking of putting a 150 shot on my 06 m6 gto and I was wondering what system to get and should I go with direct port ? Also what's the benefit of having direct port ?

You don't need a DP for a 150 shot. Just get a plate kit so that if you want to shoot more the plate will be able to handle it. Nozzles are a pain in the *** don't even go that route. Ask me how I know.

Nozzles are not a pain in the ***, you can spray 150 on a nozzle easy, a plate is better for when you want to spray more,

That being said, you can still spray more on a nozzle but you need to the the plugs tell you what the engine is doing.

Like stated above our single nozzle system or our plate system would be fine for 150 shot. Now if you just like the killer look of one of our directports thats fine as well. However a directport at that level is a bit of over kill.

When you have to make a hole in your intake boot its a PITA. When the nozzle keeps turning no matter what you try to do to stop it (loctite)its a PITA. I don't have none of those issues anymore with the 2 stage plate I used to get rid of my 2 nozzle setup.

Money is the only limiting factor when trying to spray a 150 shot. Def NEGGATIVE on dry kits for that much nitrous though. If you have the money DP is def the coolest and safest way to go because you know that every cylinder is getting the same amount of fuel and nitrous but in my opinion anything under 250 shot a plate is the way to go anything over DP

For 150hp it's not recommended for Direct port system , For that shot you need plate or dual foggers system .

If you're planning for 300 or more i would say do the Direct port system

I have had no issues withe the nozzle moving using the N20 outlet supplied fastener. I did use a little blue thread lock to be safe.

I've never been a fan or thought putting a nozzle in silicone or rubber coupler was a good idea. I think nozzles are fine just putting them in a coupler worries me. Put it in the pipe if you can and call it a day. I still think that a plate kit with pricing what it is, is a much better option.
