Nice try. But the ZL1 ain't there yet. It's not just power. It's about drivers confidence to go quicker in the turn, brake later, vehicle feedback, minimum effort required, etc.

You're surprised the car that is lighter, awd, has a dual clutch, has paddle shifters, and similair power won on a road course?

haha makes sense now. I didn't watch too closely when the video was of him talking. Not sure why the person who made the vid thought we'd want to look at this guy rather than the cars.

For reference in this same test R&T ran a 12.9@113MPH in the ZL1 compared to an 11.2@125MPH for the GT-R. They also recorded a 4.7s 0-60 for Camaro compared to 3.0 for the GT-R. The ZL-1 is nice, but its not in the GT-Rs league...the GT-R is neck and neck with the ZR-1 in most tests and faster in some.

You my friend are talking about going fast in a straight line but this video is to compare the two on a small road course theres a big difference between the two but either way the gtr is better but it also cost ALOT MORE oh and it has awd and we all know thats a HUGE game changer.

I'm pretty sure the weather played a big role on the ZL1, 40deg weather and soft rubber tires don't match. That weather doesn't affect the GTR as much being AWD. Still, 2.8 seconds is a big gap on a road course but not terrible.

you cant expect me to believe the zl1 is only capable of 12.9 at the strip. Thats what the regular SS ran with edmunds. Never rely on magazine numbers, especially edmunds.
