Default Looking for LS2 connecting rod Part #

Hi all,

I recently picked up a set of LS2 rods from an 04 GTO to swap into an LQ4 and two of the rods spun bearings and need to be replaced.

What would the part number be for these rods and are they the same as the later LQ9 rods with floating pins?

Thanks
Luke

The part number on a set I have in my garage are 12573847. But I cant find it through a search. And yes, 04+ LS2 are the same as 04+ LQ9 rods/pistons (06 pistons have 3 designs though, they changed the ring pack twice in this year).

For future reference for anyone looking for this, GMPP has 12607475 as the part number for 2005-2007 LS2 and 2008-2012 LS3 rods.

2004 GTO = LS1, not LS2...so you may want to check on the rods again to be sure they're right. I don't know if the LS1 got the same rods or not.

Good point (I just noticed he said 04 GTO). I know 04+ LQ9/LQ4 are floating (I think 5.3s are too), so I would imagine the LS1 would follow in suit. But you're right, I'd check too.
