Ok so I have a 2001 white z28 was thinking of fixing my front bumper because some a hole got me on a hit and run and I dont have full coverage so insurance is out of the question

anyways while I repaint my front bumper and fix my fenders I was wondering if to get hockey stripes??

gloss or matte. do NOT do flat it looks trashy almost. matte would look killer on the white IMO.

I was in more or less the same situation your in a few monthes ago. Car got 3700 in damage. Mines a white Z28 to. Its in the body shop now and I'm having them put the hash mark stripes on it. I had all ready painted the berger but they're doing it over. I would check out ebay for a aftermarket grille. You can find em cheap on there. In the end I bought a set of black background headlights, another SS hood, billet grille, black berger, and the stripes. I all ready had a SS rear spoiler to. I would do shiny or at least semi gloss on the berger. GL

Nice nice thanks for the pics well i have a question how do you remove the berger panel?? Since i want to make sure is installed right im doing that part myself

Take the plastic out of the back and the cover for you to access the tail lights and what not. I can't remember exactly but I'm thinking their 10mm bolts going across. You'll have to remove the taillights to. They're a how to here somewhere on how to do it.

couple ideas for you from my car.





started off as a plain jane z28. i added the ss spoiler and hood, billet grill with blue bowtie, gloss black berger with chrome inserts, whistler modded headlights, and clear corners all around, and the 346 c.i hockey stripes.

Mne does and jsteele90 thats exacrly the same stripe with the 346 number i was inerested in it looks better than i thought definately want it know and the grill looks sick too the black berger panel is what i thought too nice car

OP, have you seen the sunoco side stripes? To me hockey stripes just do not fit the 4th gens at all in any way. While the sunoco ones aren't amazing, they are different than usual, and look much more fitting to me. I bought some about a year ago or more for my old z28 and a friends z28. Main reason I got them was because they seemed to be a lot more unique and rare compared to what other people put on their 4th gens. More and more people are getting them now, but they still aren't common as hell.

You can get them in any color/finish as well, along with a cutout of text so your body color will be the text, and the stripe is whatever you like. My 98 Z I got gloss white on NBM, no text. And my friend got flat black with a Z28 cutout on his Red 97 Z28. Lots of people always asked about them for both of us.
