Default 243 Cylinder Heads complete - 2 sets - pics available

Category: Engine - Intake/Fuel
Price: $350
Part Fits: 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird, Corvette, 04-06 Pontiac GTO
Location (State): GA
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
Engine: LS2/LS3/LS7/L92/LS9, LS1/LS6
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

1. pair of 243's off a 2009 model 31,999 mile engine...missing one valve spring, but they do not appear to be the "yellow" LS6 springs. They did not drop a valve....someone at work "borrowed" a spring & didn't tell me. I don't think you would be reusing the springs anyway. $350.

2. pair of 243's off a 36k mile 2006 GTO LS2 engine. (I'm putting L92's on it and a carb so I don't need these.) They are complete with LS6 style "yellow" valvesprings. $400.

I can send you pics of both to email. They appear to be to big to load on here.

Both sets are #243 Casting LS2 / LS6 Style Cylinder Heads, complete with Springs, Regular valves, NOT Hollow stem

Price does not include shipping or paypal fee. Parts located in middle Georgia. PM or text (478) 363 - 2126.
Thanks for your interest, Jason

Sale pending on this set. I am pretty sure I will be listing another set from a 36k mile '06 GTO LS2 within a week.

So, these are LS6 heads, but just with solid valves? What makes the sodium filled valves better compared to the solid ones?

Most of the time, it seems like ls6 heads go for considerably more. Why aren't yours more? Just because of the valves?

Default Update:

First let me thank everyone for all the interest.
Now, I only have one set listed at the moment, and the second set are still bolted to the LS2. I have the first 5 people who contacted me listed in order....and everyone else who has inquired listed too....it gets fuzzy trying to keep track of the order after those first 5 since some where contacting by PM...some by posting in the thread...and some by texting me. Between work and then taking my kids to church tonight, I haven't really been able to reply to anyone today so I am doing it here in the thread. That being said, I am trying to do this as fair as possible to all of you. I took pics last night and emailed them to the member first in line today. The heads are now boxed, and tomorrow I'll send him a shipping quote. Should that not work out, I will contact the 2nd, and so forth if necessary. Once I receive payment, I can ship the heads within 24 hours since I can do that at work.
When I have time to remove the other set of heads I will take pics of those and keep moving down the list until they are sold. I do not have anymore besides these two sets and don't have a "source" for getting more. These were just parts I had been saving for my own use.
Thanks again for all the interest, Jason

After trying to keep this in order, I have ended up having these listed for a week and despite tons of response....they are still here. By trying to do it a fair way it is a couple days between response from the people who were first on the list and it has added up. I have decided to just do this first $$ first served. I have already PM'd or texted everyone who already inquired before posting this statement so they have some chance.

Thats how it should be..First person that sends the money gets the goods..I used to "hold" items because someone called dibs on them, or because someone showed interest..Never again. First one with the $$ gets the goods.
