Rich at idle OLSD??? Tune attached, any help? EFILIVE
Im trying to tune my trucks ve tables and maf so I fail the maf by setting the maf fail to 0. So I should be in olsd but its running to rich!? Anyone want to look over my tune? Despite what the calibration says its a 4.8 03 silverado, 4l80, 236/236 .617/.607 lift 112lsa, headers, cai. Its idling at 12.0-11.5 afr.......
I cant find a reason why?

The MAF is not failed. But there's more to it than that. First post you say you want it in OLSD, but now you're saying you want closed loop?
The VE looks as if you're trying to tune it (the VE) while still in MAF mode. I would recommend putting the VE back to stock, and starting over.
Read your tutorials. Do some research. Find out how to properly set it up to tune in speed density.

Ill send you over the files you need.
1. will be stock non custom os that is 4.8L with 4l80e.
2. will be custom os with starter file set up to run in Semi closed loop like you are trying to do.
In your current file, you are missing alot of steps needed to make the custom os work correctly. One being, that you need to shut off long term fuel trims.
Second being that the maf fail rate needs to be set to 100 or so.
The Ve you have is WAY wrong, not sure what you where trying to do.
What injectors do you have? Stock?

Also there are other problems:
- B3647 goes lean in the last two columns (this is bad especially since you have PE enabling at 90% TP); this has happened most likely because you have the tunetool's fueling units set to Lambda (the default) instead of EQR.
- if you're going to use PE, enable it with less throttle (for example look at 2001/2002 F-body).
- B3647: any cells in this table that are set to EQR 1.000 (i.e. stoich) will cause semi-open loop (SOL) which uses the STFT's to trim to stroich (defeating your tuning efforts); to avoid this during tuning, set all cells that are EQR 1.000 to some non-stoich value like 1.01 or 0.99.

Also fix this:
And also A0012, A0013.
To fix those do this:
- set each of them to some valid values that are not the Min or Max;
- save the file;
- exit the tunetool;
- open the tunetool;
- set each of them to desired values (which can be Min or Max);
- save the file.
(there's a special reason for this procedure, pm me on the EFILive forum and I'll explain why)
Code:
Out of Range calibration summary: 02:06:45 pm, Wednesday Feb 15, 2012 EFILive Custom Calibrations {A0001} Forced Octane Scaler Percentage, was out of range when loaded. {A0002} Octane Scaler Limiter, was out of range when loaded.

As Ed said above, the MAF is not failed...
but when you do fail it, it won't fail immediately unless you set the MAF DTC's in C6001 to 1-Trip instead of 2-Trips (setting to Non-Emissions may work; Not-Reported won't work);
when the MAF is successfully failed, the PCM throws a MAF DTC.
