lol I dont actually live there anymore, just where I grew up. still own property there though.

I went to brute speeds website and he has several "supercharger cams" and 1 forced induction cam. I guess my question is, what do I need to look for to make sure I get the best cam for what I want to do.

Need to set goals and give Bob up there at Brute speed a call and see what he says. Along with a few other shops that deal with these type of setups. Also search the forums seeing what has worked for other people as-well.

I've spent the last couple days, searching the threads for someone doing what I'm doing. I'm sure there are tons of people. but so far everyone is kinda quiet about the details of their set up. My goal is 650-700 rwhp, dont really care about track time, probably never take the car to the track, if you catch my drift.

I am in the process of choosing heads,and I understand how expensive they can be. more even than the whole forged rotating assembly. or the machine shop costs. bob will tell you to go with a head with a 3/4 decklid and an mls gasket because I already asked that quetion. However I thought about the 317's too because of the price, but more than one person has told me I would push water on those heads at the 700hp level. also remember that lonnie says that the stock fuel lines are only good up to around 700 so you will need braided lines ran, and of course a regulator, double pumper and hobbs setup. i am going to choose between a used set of AFR 225, TF 225, or most likely cheapo Patriot Predator 225's. Personally Procharger reccomends diamond pistons. but both have a great track record for the most part.

my first choice was Diamond pistons, but I have the wisecos available, ready to go. Same with the 317 heads. I've never heard of them pushing water, so I'll have to look into that before I get to deep into the build. Already got the fuel system underway that should handle more than my goal.
