Default Calspeed 1-7/8" headers for 07+ NNBS trucks

The reasearch I've done seems to show that the Calspeed 1-7/8" headers made for the NBS trucks will also fit on a 07+ NNBS trucks as long as they are 2wd. The problem is that it appears that the y-pipe is made to fit with only the 4 speed trannys and will not fit with/clear a 6 speed tranny (6l80). Is this correct?

Does anybody have a fix for this? Is there another y pipe that will work? I know I can always have one custom fabbed, but not sure how cost effective that is.

Calspeed: do yall plan to come out with a y-pipe that will work with a 6l80?

Any info is appreciated.

Update: I talked with a guy from Calspeed on the phone. He said the they dont know for sure that the y pipe DOESN'T fit with a 6l80, they just haven't tried it yet so they can't say it DOES for sure either. He said there isn't that much size difference between the two trannys, so he thinks it actually should work. I'll wait for someone with a 6l80 to try them out and see how the y fits.

Also, the reason they don't sell a catted y is because it is illegal in California to sell any type of high flow cat. They can't buy them or sell them there. I want cats so I'll just buy some high flow cats and get my exhaust guy to put them in.

This is correct. We assume they fit 6l80e just as well as the 4l60e transmissions but we just havent had a chance to try them yet on one.

I just bought the 1 7/8 headers and was told that they would fit perfect and they fit horrible. We had to notch the headers AFTER replacing the motor mounts and they also burn the spark plug wires. My Pacesetters and American Racing headers never did this.
