Default quick questions on slave cylinder

my friends 04' gto slave cylinder went out and we were wondering whether to go with a gm performance or ram slave cylinder? and what is better pull or push type? or do you recommend a different brand? we couldnt find a solid answer. btw its twin turbo with a centerforce clutch. he dyno 600whp and is planning for more soon. thx!

anyone?

anyone know if our oem slave cylinder is a push or pull type?

It's the exact same as an F-body one except for the hard line fitting. Just get one for a Camaro and transfer the fitting to the new save. Save yourself like $200.

Get a 2002 Z28 fbody slave from Autozone for $68.99 and change the fitting.

NOT from autozone. They have the cheap chinese "precision" brand.
So does Napa.

Oriely's/Kragen has the "AF" one GM uses for $65.

Just went slave shopping a month ago.

But yes, get the fbody slave, knock out the roll pin, swap fittings and pocket $200

Advance Auto has a GTO specific one for under $70. I've had one in for 4 years with a Monster 3 clutch and it's been fine so far.
