Ive always had a soft spot for the ACR vipers. I don't like mopar that much but from what I hear the base model viper's handling back then was trash for the price you'd pay. Then you get into an ACR Viper and you'll be picking pieces of your face off the windows.

I don't think I'd say the base model Viper's handling is trash, although the 1000 lbs of downforce generated by the ACR's aero package does wonders (the KW shocks and stiffer springs help too).

It still has a warranty, so just some stereo work for now. After having modded my Camaro to the point that I didn't enjoy driving it as much, I'm happy just leaving this one alone.

Ha!

Acting like the mod bug can't affect you any more.

Saving this post for when you put a paxton on the viper :3

Whatever it takes to keep me ahead of Gaunt.

I will tell you though...I'm totally looking forward to the $1700-ish bill for tires since it needs some new ones.

Haha, I'm sure someone makes a decent 335 tire with 440 treadlife at $200 a piece!

275/35/18 fronts (not a problem finding a decent tire)
345/30/19 rears (becomes a problem in a big hurry)

You can get a full set of Nitto Invos for ~$1,300ish, but I'm looking at Michelins at the moment.

Damn! 7.03 sec Nurburgring lap?! It almost seems impossible that it only does ~11s in the 1/4 but can traverse a 12.9 mile road course in 7 seconds! Jesus, thats like 6605mph. Which engine did they go with: a rocket or a turbofan? Something tells me the rocket would be the only one capable of this as turbofans/turbojets dont do too well over mach 2.5 as they have to slow the air down to subsonic. Or could it be a scramjet?

Lol, jk.

10s actually (even a base 600hp Viper will run high 10s bone stock) but I hear ya on the 7 second 'ring lap times...I haven't seen a car go that fast since this funky lookin' DeLorean I saw at a mall late at night many years ago LOL.
