I was on the eastern shore of Mexico with my MR2. Got to light on a 4 lane highway with a white SS in front of me and a 09 Black Mustang GT on the other side in front of me. Mustang boy had his hat back wards and was cracking pipe at the Camaro.
They both take off-I had to launch soft I would not ram the SS(pic coming of why thats so). Once moving the SS pulled hard on the Mustang. I hung till third and he started pulling away. It was loud,didn't lope and I didn't hear any whine. I have no idea the mods. I pulled the Mustang by about 6 cars to 90 or so and SS had me by about 4-5. Very fast!!!

Opposite side further down I see another race!!! Black 5th gen vs a 09 GT in white!! 5th gen looked like it ripped the Mustang up pretty good.


Here is my MR2 launching on STREET radials,open rear and stock suspension dropping the clutch at 4500-EAT ME Kevin and Doug lol!!!! Thats my GTZ in far lane as well. Mr2 now has a LSD and drag radials on it with a lot more power.

WHy do all the 10 and prior mustangs think they can beat the new SS's? Some guys on Mustangevolution swore they could beat a new SS in there 05-10 mustangs. And all them had nothing more then a tune, cold air. Most was a guy with headers and x pipe stock cat back, cold air, tune. I just laughed at them all. I actually told them they be lucky to beat a 02 stock SS. HAHA

I used to have a MR2 turbo. Bitch would GET OUT from a dig. I about ruined that transmission from launching hard and powershifting though. When I sold it the car would sometimes not go into gear unless you pulled HARD.

LOL you guys need to leave Ohio alone. Im suprised back in the old days i use to run into stangs all the time in my LT1 camaro but now a days none wanna race other then 2011-2012 5.0s and the ones that do wanna race with full bolt ons meaning 05-2010 models never line up, i get ricer fly bys, they gun it first and zig zag out of traffic. Hopefully we see more and more of these newer 5.0's out there, i love competition and finally ford came out with a great car. LOL, time for me to start the upgrading again, damn.

I don't know. Around here most of the stang guys run. Some of the 99 and up GTs are really cocky out here. They have actually come after me in my Z28.
