Default o2 sensors with extenders or corvette o2 sensors?

I'm going to be installing LTs in my 2000 Z28.
I've heard that the Corvette o2 sensors are longer and don't need extenders. If that's the case, would that be a better option for my set up rather than buying the o2 and extenders?

Thanks,

Joel

I went with the vette o2s, their longer and have a higher heating element. More $ but worth it in the long run.

Thanks for the info.

I just called a local auto parts store and I was quoted the following for o2 sensors.

2000 Z28 Camaro
$44.99 and $41

2000 Corvette.

$34 and $ 47

Needless to say, I was expecting the Corvette o2 sensors to cost more.
Perhaps I didn't ask for the right ones? I'm also worried about the Corvette o2's possibly throwing codes or causing other problems.

Can you guys please suggest some good bang-for-your-buck o2 sensors?

Thanks,

Joel

You want Bosch 13111. I had the extensions at first and had problems. Switched to the 13111 and never looked back.

I thought I was the only one having this problem! Everytime water gets in the socket it causes an awful miss.

Wow, never heard of anything like this before. Maybe it's time that I look into the 13111's and selling of my 02 extensions.

$34.30 shipped on Amazon for Bosh 13111s
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...F8&me=&seller=

It seems to good to be true, are they right ones? If so, I'm getting myself a pair ASAP.

Thanks,

Joel

I'd e-mail and ask... Their was a pair on e-bay for the same price. I e-mailed asking why theris were 40$ cheaper, They gave me some wierd bullshit reason (can't remember) but turns out they wouldn't fit or something along those lines..

The free and easy way to do this is to just plug your original front o2's into your rear sockets and repin your PCM so your rear sockets read the front o2's. It's free, you don't have to use 20ft extra of wire, and you're re-using nice factory o2's

You want the rear (After Cat) Corvette 02 sensors. The fronts have a different connector.
