Default Swaybar Question, Which One?

Hotchkis makes hollow swaybars, while BMR makes solid bars....which ones should I get? I have Eibach Pro springs on my car, but have body roll, and wanna upgrade my swaybars.....which ones? Or I was also thinkin of getting G2 springs with their swaybars? Just lookin for a good setup?? any input?

I would do the front first, and go with either the suspension techniques 35mm solid bar, or a hollow 35mm bar (I know where to get one but not sure if they are a sponsor here). Do that first and then if you feel the need to upgrade the rear also, I would try a 22mm bar.

Also, not sure what else you have done besides the springs but to me the shocks are the most important part of the ovarall package although they won't cure body roll.

Springs support the weight ... sway bars tune weight distribution.

Oh, I have Strano Bilstein shocks underneath the Eibachs....So, should i go with a hollow or solid swaybar? I was thinkin of just going with all LG Motorsports Equipment, G2 springs with their swaybar kit....or just leaving my springs as is, and doing Hotchkis bars....but BMR makes solid bars, so should I go solid or hollow?

After swaybars you should not need an alignment. Many do like to get a more aggressive alignment after the install.

G2 springs aren't made anymore, and good luck finding some.

You keep asking about "what should I get?" but we can't tell you because you don't tell us what you want to do with the car? Do you want to autox, road race, just carve corners on the street? Give us some info so we can help you out.

Regardless of application, I firmly believe the Eibach's are just too soft of a spring. While you can get enough bar under the car to help body roll, you still have to deal with brake dive.

Now, you have opted for those Bilsteins revalved ... revalved specifically for the Eibach spring rate and ride height, changing springs means you are gonna have to have that done all over again. If you change springs, your best bet would be to sell the Eibach's and Bilsteins as a package and then buy the HD Bilsteins and not worry about it.

I've been running HDs on my car, first 18 months were with Eibach Pros and over 2 years now on G2 supers, without an issue. Is it optimum? No, but damned adequate ...

But ...

like JD says ... your application is most important ...

I would leave everything as is and go for a 35mm hollow front bar. If your still not happy with it you can look at a rear bar, and ultimately swapping springs but like Mitch said if you have the revalves you will really need to get shocks matched to the G2's for the optimum setup and now your talking alot more money. I've heard the 35mm bar makes a big difference and it would somewhat complete the package you already have.

I agree with Ky, if you're just looking for street fun, leave the prokits on. Like Mitch pointed out, you already spent money to get the bilsteins revalved for the prokits, might as well take advantage of what you got. Grab a 35mm front sway bar. I think you'll be satisfied with that. If you're not, sell it and move on. There are a lot of people buying 35 mm swaybars nowadays so selling it won't be a problem.

You live and learn, but only you are going to know what you like best.

BMR 32 mm solid front and 21 mm solid back with Koni SA's, this combo will do very well.

I just ordered the ST 35mm front swaybar. Looks like it should be a good choice from others input.
