Those two cams are too closely matched to have much difference. I personally have the MS3, and it runs like a champ. I just wish I would have gone a little bigger than the MS3.

So do you think the MS4 will be fine for DD with a very good tune on 112 lsa

Your going to need a spot on tune and 4.10's in the rear for it to drive good. I have a real high tolerance for what I call good street manners. So I didn't mind some bucking and surging down low. It was minimal at best and went away after about 2k.
If you plan to seriously daily it, I would go with a torquer v3 or a 228r. You will get more useable power for the street and better driveability. The ms series cams and similar are top end cams. They shine above 4k rpm's. If you don't plan to drive it at thoes rpm's all the time or very often, I would go with the torquer or 228.
You will lose some power up top, but you will retain a lot of bottom end tire shredding grunt that truly makes a car fun.
Not only that but with the ms cam's, You will be changing valve springs every 20 to 30k miles.

what do you mean its the only cam available?
the comp cam you have listed and the MS3 are very similar, and will perform very similar. I was just saying, you will most likely be happier with a Torquer V3 or 228 for a DD. They wont make the peak numbers like the Comp cam or MS3/4 but they will blow them away with under the curve, useable power.

I've got about the same setup. I daily drive mine all the time. Your torque convertor and gear ratio are more suited for a smaller cam than you are looking at. Something like a TSP TV2 would really scream in your car. But if you want to go big send the SS3600 back for a restall and run 26" MTs with your 3.73s.

I daily drove my 04 GTO with a 238/242 on stock 3.46 rear gears and it was a tad on the big side, but a set of gears would have made it great....I ran a 4,000 stall with it too

there are a few other cam companies on this forum that offer a cam to meet your needs.take your time and look a little bit more.maybe check out the dyno sections for hp numbers.do a search for a certain cam and see what comes up.it is worth your time to do a little research for such a important part.

How was the drivability and what was the dyno numbers with / H or not . Is it worth to go with this cam or better to go with MS4 112 LSA considering the DD and excellent tune
