Default AutoLoc vs lokar SS dipsticks

It looks like I will need to run both trans and engine oil SS flexible dipsticks. I have found AutoLoc is half as much as Lokar. Does anyone have experience with Autoloc? It is comparable?

i have the Lokar tranny dipstick and I like the way it looks but absolutely hate it... its a pain to fill (you get a little adapter to put on the end of your funnel) and then after you have filled it you can't really check it because the tube is so small there is tranny fluid all the way up the stick.

so you let it set a while so all that fluid goes down the tube and then its still kind of hard to read.

on the car we are building now we made damn sure we could use the stock ones

There is not enough room between the firewall on mine. Maybe i can tweak it and make a new mounting tab? I guess its worth a try.

I totally agree with Ken and their customer service is one of the worst in the industry. They are part of the Huffman Group, don't buy anything from any of their 'divisions'.

I tried to tweek my OEM tube. It bent and folded over as I put pressure on it to bend. This was just a bit and using my body as a way to just put a small curve in. Gave up as I would have had to weld/braze shut the hole in the fold of the tube.
