Default What is the best performance muffler?

Gents, looking to add a performance muffler and tips to stock exhaust, would appreciate any feedback. What is the best balance of performance and sound?

There's too many good ones to name, but I like magnaflow, flowmaster, borla, and SLP loudmouth mufflers the most

Magnaflow or Spintech FTW!!

Only get a Slowmaster if you want to sound good and have a cutout.

All exhaust sounds weird with dod period...if your just adding muffler your not going to gain a ton of performance so whichever brand you decide Will make the car sound better without having to worry about sacrificing performance....you could even do fowmasters....that's for you ls1 lol

I betcha the stock tips are the most restrictive part of our whole exhaust.. well maybe not quite , but they sure as hell arent helping anything.

If you can see straight through it they are all the same. The real question is do you do a 2.5in set up 3 in. You may as well go from the downpip back.

I just uploaded some clips of passbys in DoD mode, it doesn't sound weird at all! You'll need a subwoofer to really hear the bass in it, but don't be worried about DoD mode!
