I beleive the legal limit here in NC is about 35% on window tint. A car doesn't really look good when the tint is very transparent. You might wanna go darker and try 20%. You can see through it in direct sunlight but other than that it is hard to see through on the outside and you can see perfectly through it from the inside.

5% here.. During daylight, there are no problems seeing out... However, seeing in is a problem . I love it!

F.Y.I.: 5% is the amount to light allowed to transmit throught the film. The lower the #, the darker the tint. I have had rare ocassions when backing into parking spots with 5% on the back window when it is dark out proves challenging. Not enough of a problem to warrant taking it off or going lighter though. Then again, i'm 26 and my eyes are still in great condition.

has anyone ever tried 30-35% front and back? the legal limit here in va is 35% in the back 50% up front but if you can get a signed waiver you take to the dmv for sensative eyes from the optomitrist you can get 35% all the way around and 75% on the windsheild...im not doing the windshield cause id ont like the look but 30-35% all the way around sounds ideal to me...

anyoen have pics of 30% all the way around?

Check my cardomain site, link in sig.. 32% front and 13% on hatch, i can always see out my windows and i think it looks decent, i took 32% in the front to make a nice transition from the front window
