Default MWC solid motor mounts

i searched and did not find anything really on who has run the MWC solid motor mounts. I have been going back and forth on mounts and think i have decided on solids. i dont want the sphons since they will raise the motor, and do not want the hassle of doing the polys in the clamshells. so price wise the MWC are by far the cheapest. How do you guys like them? Here is a link to them

What are you trying to figure out? Have you ever had solids? I have motovative solid motor mounts. You get vibrations through the chassis. But you get used to it. I use the solid mm with a poly tranny mount. No motor movement at all

what i want to know is if anyone has used the MWC solids. Want to know if they are a quality piece since they are only $85 shipped. Also if the motor will sit exactly the same as it is now, i know some companys like the spohns raise the motor. Just any opinions on them thats all really, i have not found anyone running them.

They look to be the same dimensions as the motovative ones. Spohn mounts raise the motor because it replaces the mount and the pedistal. Midwest chassis motovative and umi all use low profile solid mounts so I highly doubt it'd raise the motor at all. And it's mwc yk it's going to be quality work. Lol

So it's a quality solid mount that DOESNT raise the engine? Or at least it shouldn't?

If MWC makes it is a quality peice. Eric can keep the price "cheaper" because he has less shop overhead and builds it himself. I have order Lots O parts from Eric and always great service. And still have a bunch on order LOL

Our UMI mount is another option. It is not the cheapest on the market because of the design and material used. It is machined from aluminum and will not effect the engine height it anyway. They are also very light and save 3lbs over the factory mounts.

Here is a picture of them in production (we build all products in house as well)- http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...type=3&theater

I hope that helps,

Go with the Spohn solids the stock pedal is what has all the weight. If your going to put up with the extra vibration already why not shed the extra weight? Just my .02 I have them paired with a poly transmission mount and I love them.
