Default Build Thread 799's, Torquer V.2 and true duals

I finished this a few weeks ago and decided i would show my proccess and finished project.

The beginning was a full bolt on 2001 T/A:
Headers
tsp ory pipe
80mm tb
jaam air kit
so on and so forth

Now for the new:
799 heads
texas speed Torquer V.2 cam
42 lb injectors
ls2 timing chain
melling oil pump
7.4 length push rods
Custom true duals under the axel

un-ported 799's? i have the same setup except with a 224r and it makes ~400 rwhp. do you have new dyno numbers or e/t yet? btw are you m6 or a4?

yea unported 799's and no et's or dyno numbers yet. are race season doesnt stat here in denver for another 2 weeks and i also lost my license so i have no way to get it there yet.

oh you're in denver, haha track numbers are gonna be way different for you. i'm at sea level.

Yea theyll be quiet a bit different. But i got a great tuner and with my bolt ons and an unfinished tune i ran a 13.68 at 103. So i will be happy with 12's up here lol.

god everytime i see an ls1 engine bay i have to resist the urge to go delete everything possible in mine.

Let me tell you it was fun to do but also made me very nervous I've never done this by myself and had no help did it by myself lol. I've had no classes in mechanics or nothing. Did a lot of reading, internet, books, manuals you name it. So I can say i was damn proud when i turned over the key and she fired right up no problems. Did i mention i was 20 years old to haha

subscribed : Im in colorado myself, just north of you. I will also be curious about your HP numbers/ track times (even though i dont ever go to the track). I just got my Torquer v2 cam in my camaro last week lol

Thats awesome man!!! Yea hopefully i can convince someone to take my car to the dyno after my tuner is done with it. He does a street tune. One of the best tuners i've ever found. Probably one of the top in colorado and does it for a very reasonable price. My car ran doors with his tune and just bolt-ons so i cant wait to see what he can do with it now.
