Would you wait to buy an IPad 3?
I normally don't like buying the first batch of products, but I told my gf a few weeks ago I'd get her one. And now she won't leave me alone about it. . Should I wait? Or is there no reason to wait?

I have an iPad 2 and low it. They say it is faster speed, little better camera, and brighter.
Speed on mine is good, brightness is good( 3 has led backlighting), and they have a connection that will connect a digital camera to iPad 2. Picture quality sucks but transfer them from your digital camera to the iPad or off the computer.
Apple always drags there **** out to me. The new iPad is not that much better IMO. Go for it, maybe find a deal on iPad 2. They are user friendly as hell, that's what I like.

I have the iPad 2, pre-ordered it on launch day last year. If you're in the market for one, I'd get the iPad 3.
I don't understand why people would get old technology if a newer model is available. The price difference is not that huge.

Hey Patrick, I got my wife an I pad 2 when the 3 came out for a good price. The 2 is pretty awesome. I got her the one with wifi only since we both have i phones with the data plan its crazy imo to pay for the data on the i pad as well. She loves it is all I can say. Its very fast and does everything you want. The 3 has a few small differences, but is it really worth the price. If she is the type that has to have the latest and greatest then by all means get a 3, but if she is ok with something more cost efficient then get a 2, the price has fallen on them quite a bit.

Is iPad 3 already out? Or I guess people are referring to "The new iPad" as Apple refers to the latest version launched a couple of weeks ago.
Me and my wife both have iPad 2 and do not see any need to get a new one yet. Then again, we only have wifi versions, so the LTE vs. 3G is not an issue. Neither is the slightly better camera. Better display? Meh... It looks good but we'll survive for now.
All in all, if the $100 difference is not a factor, then might as well get the new one.
