Intake manifold removal question
So I'm getting everything together for a cam install this weekend. I'm also replacing lifters so I'm not worrying about them every time I get on the go pedal- which means the heads are coming off, which means the intake manifold is coming off. I've heard that a lot of people have problems breaking the oil pressure sensor when they remove their intake mani's, what are you guys doing to break them? Seems like if you're careful unbolting everything and then slowly lifting up it should come off fine, but I've never done it before so what do I know.
Anyway, can someone tell me what to look for so as to not break mine?
BTW car is a GTO, so I have a lot more room in the back of the engine bay compared to F-bodies, is that just your guys' issue?

sure fire way to not break it is to disconnect all the vac lines on the back of the intake before you pull it out. Also you can use rubber bands to hold the bolts up on the rear cause you wont get those out with it in the car.
Its alot easier than some people make it sound. Just take your time & dont yank on anything, if it doesnt wanna come out look it over again to make sure everything is done to remove it properly & then just lift & slide toward the front end.
