Vehicle Classifieds - Gauging Interest - 98 T/A WS6 Cam/Stall/Exhaust Alabama

Wanting to gauge interest on my WS6(clone). Just picked it up about a month ago and am not sure I am still wanting a sports car. Plus the wife doesn't like it lol...

6/8/12 - The price is $6500. Not a penny less. Don't expect it. I have more than that in it now with all the new parts and everything else installed. Really looking for a crew cab 4x4 truck to trade.

Anyway, it's a 98 with 154k miles. 31k on engine. Auto tranny with 3500 TCI stall, Ported TB, Cam, Long Tube Headers, Full Exhaust, custom tuned by RWTD in Mobile, AL.

Brand new Nitto 555's in the rear and new tires on the front
Vette wheels
Cold a/c, leather, power windows, locks, etc...
Brand new Bluetooth ready head unit(awesome)
I have put lots of parts on it just trying to get stuff back right from the previous owner not replacing broken stuff lol...mainly interior stuff.

EDIT - 6/8/12:

Just put on new plugs, fuel filter, o2 sensors, and completely new AC(compressor, accumulator, oriface tube)...ice cold air :)

Got lots of parts waiting to be put on:
torque arm bushing new in box - installed
Ttop and door weatherstrip(small leak now) - installed
Driver door panel and mirror - installed
Headliner - installed
Foglight HID's - installed
Both headlights metal gear installed
Passenger window motor - new in box


The car is SUPER FAST!!! Just think I might go a different route. Always wanted one, but think I might just let it go lol...

The bad:
Driver seat needs redone
Oil leak, haven't traced it down yet...
Needs to be retuned for an idle issue. I found a vacuum leak on it and apparently it was tuned with the leak as since I plugged it the car doesn't want to idle when warm. I have been driving it two footed when coming to a stop or changing gears...no biggie until tuned.
It is showing its age on the outside. Paint looks great from 5ft away but you can see imperfections up close.

Just trying to be as up front as possible.

I'm looking for a WS6 currently while selling my truck.. trying to get 10k for my truck KBB value is at 8500, I really hope this would still be up by the time I sell the truck, willing to make the drive up there as well..

Bump...update:
Changed headliner out
Put in hella projector hid headlights and fog bids
Both headlight motors fixed
Got weather stripping changed out, no leaks on ttops
Replaced console lid for good one
New parking light housings installed
Put on 3" fixed antenna
Deleted visors with aluminum plugs
Got 2 sets of keys and remotes now
New tps, and iac sensors
Parts waiting to be put on:
New o2 sensors
Fuel filter
Spark plugs and wires
drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads
Torque arm bushing
Driver door roller bushing
New shifter handle coming in the mail.

Still needs tuned for idle issue, still has oil leak, and AC compressor clutch took a dump. Can tap it to turn it on. Will need new compressor.


If someone honestly wants it and will enjoy it like I do, I will take $6500 cash. I have that in it. Title in hand.

Is the car a real WS6 or does it just have a hood?

The hood looks aftermarket, the airbox is short and theres no WS6 badge on the back....

Pretty sure its not a true ws6...but I haven't ran the numbers...

1.) Do you have proof of engine rebuild with a list of parts used?
2.) Have you located the oil leak and how much does it leak?
3.) Are we talking minor paint chips or full on clear coat peeling in some spots?
4.) Is the title clear?

No papers on engine. Was a replacement from another car.

Haven't looked into the leak. Been driving it over a month and its leaked out about a quart.

Small imperfections on the paint. Just showing its age. No major spots, just normal wear and tear. Clear coat looks good.

Clear title in my name. As far as I know, never been wrecked...

Bump for all parts being put on. I hope I am done putting money into it. Thinking I want a crew cab truck now. Open to trades or $6500 cash money...title in hand
