Default TSP cam choice?

hello im running stock ls1 heads on my 02 z28 with a ls6 intake, im going to stick a cam in it wondering what everyone uses for a cam with stock heads. that is still streetable.

228 or a v2 either one is what i would use

what tranny and rear gears do you got ?a good tuner can make MS3 seem streetable.

your gonna need a stall to and for a cam from tsp i would go with the 228 0r the torquer v 2 with your setup. A 3600 stall would go very nicely with both of these cams and the 3.73's. very good streetable setup

First do you have LT headers, or stock manifolds?

as said above, the 228r is an awesome daily drive-able cam with nice power gains. The truth is you could go bigger with a cam like the MS3 and be completely fine. So the choice would be up to you depending on your goals.

If it were me - I would go with the Texas Speed 233/239 .595"/.603" Camshaft @ 113 LSA. This cam would give you an aggressive idle - great power throughout the whole rpm band and the street manners would be great with a nice tune.

What are your overall goals?

IMO, Anywhere from a 224/228 - 228/232 would be a good choice, but you'll need a higher stall TC(3200-3600); FIRST !
