Default what converter for my cam????

I'm finishing up my motor soon but still need to buy a converter. I want it to drive close to stock and it will hardly see any track time. Just want a quick street car. I was thinking of a 3200 circle d......what do you guys recommend....

a 3600 would go good with the 373's and your cam

i would call circle d and talk to chris. he will be able to spec you a converter for your needs. i have a 4c 3600 from him and it's a really nice converter.

Agreed with above, a 3200-3600 would do nicely.

I have a 3200 in my bolt on car... it doesnt drive close to stock at all, its noticeable that it has a converter in it. If you wanted close to stock, go alot lower.

I dont mind converters as I daily drive my 3200 and wish it was bigger for better track performance, but just letting you know, its definately different driving that stock. Not harder to drive just different... your rpms are alot higher when taking off from a stop.

Please keep in mind that it is not stall speed that dictates how loose or tight a converter is. It is the STR.
