His mods take the car up to 460+ to the wheels... Mine only makes 365 to the wheels.

Thats what his clutch allows him to do... Ive filmed many races before and its the way its always been.

Not saying im faster than him, but he really is going to struggle on the 1/4 when we go at it.

Actually heads are in the works... Found a guy that will build me some 243 ported polished and milled to create high compression. Valve job springs and all sorts of goodies.
I may do an Airconditioning job for him, and he'll do the heads. He is a retired GM performance guy, and is all that he does now.

I've tried what he is doing. You keep your hands on the steering wheel and you shift with your right elbow. Takes about 2-3 seconds per shift if you're decent at it.

Some stupid stiff clutch, I dont know the what type, but it is aftermarket.

He needs to put a 10lb diving weight on his left leg, walk around and take some steroids.

OP didn't mean to get off topic, grats on your car moving better but my mind=blown by those shifts.

I think I also saw a fat guy walking next to the cobra right when he shifted between those gears. It's like 1st is on the hood and second is at the trunk.

Its an 04 Termi, Bad ass ride without a doubt. Also has a 100 wet shot.

I have a 224 cam, springs, pushrods, oil pump, timming chain, Lid, Bellow, tb bypass, shorty headers, no cats, cut out, built 4l60e with 3800 vig, trans cooler.

Here we are at the track. This is before my trans/stall and nittos. Both on street tires.

The announcer states the traps and Et's at the end of race... By no means em i saying my ride is faster than that termi, but the 1/4 mile is where i may have a shot. That 1/4 vid was pre stall, trans and nittos.

Im also getting use to driving a stalled vehicle, its my first and learning the sweet spots. I tried the 1/4 but was horrible, too much wheel spin on take off. One of my passes was a 16. lol Anyway, hope you guys see past the BS and enjoy me trying to document progress on my trans am.

I text my friend and asked him about his clutch. Its a solid disc stage 4 spec clutch. Has no Springs, guess thats why its so stiff.

What does he have for a clutch?

And yes, i couldnt hook at all. I was running high psi on nittos, heading back with less psi, and no revs out the line, stall is kinda tricky never thought i would have trouble launching.
