Painting interior parts
I was just wondering what prep work is needed to paint some parts on my interior. Like what do I need to do to get the armor all off and to smooth the parts out. Also what paint do I need to use and do I need to put anything on to make the paint bond to the plastic. What will I need to do to keep it from chipping off.
Thanks

sand them with 600 grit first, then go to 800 grit, wipe it all down with a wet cloth, let dry, use a primer thats made for stuff like this, then do 5 or 6 light coats of the color u want, again, using a good paint, then if u want it to shine a little more, and have an extra protectant, clear coat it 2 or 3 times...thats how i did mine, been that way for about 5 months, no chips and no fading

Krylon has a paint line called "Fusion" that is meant for plastics. I have no experience with is though.
