Default 95 lt1 firebird exhaust manifold question

I've got a friend who's helping a guy swap from shorty headers back to exhaust manifolds because he's tired of blowing out header gaskets. I told him to just double up the gaskets but hes got his mind made up. Only problem is, the crossover pipe collector flange that bolts to the manifold from the passenger side has been mangled and is unuseable. Does anyone where to get a replacement flange or a new crossover? Please help. Thank you

I would try a junkyard. I know when I went to longtubes I trashed all the stock stuff taking it out.

Just get new gaskets, fel pro should do just fine and torque the bolts down correctly, big waste of time and busted knuckles putting manifolds back in. Your friend should really change his mind.

J just found out the full story. Basically the guy put the stock manifolds back on himself and realized the crossover wasn't going to work and he was out of his league so he then trailered the car to my buddy's shop to get it finished. And its about an 8" pipe from the manifold to the crossover that has been modified and needs a new collectors, not the crossover itself

Why ditch the headers? Just get locking header bolts, and decent header gaskets. DONE.

Thanks for the help and suggestions guys. My buddy found a matching collector flange from some place called speedway motorsports or something close to that. And vinR1, thanks for the offer man. I'll still tell my buddy tomorrow that you offered the crossover just in case the customer is interested.
