Default Easy Question : Air and EGR

Hey guys. I apologize as I am sure this has been asked a million times. However, my search button doesn't work due to the slow connection here in Afghan. I tried finding my answer via google search but am a little confused.

I have TSP headers and an ls6 intake waiting to be installed when I get home. I'm going to be deleting the air and EGR as well. Car is a '99 TA.

I need the block off plates for everything, headers and intake.

I believe the ls6 intake does not have the EGR provisions correct?

Can somebody please give me links for everything I need? I appreciate any help.

Thanks again.

Yeah, I believe I just found what I need. Since the ls6 has no provisions, I should just need the EGR header block off plate and the Air block off plate. Correct?

This is what I purchased.

Should be everything I need?

I will be getting the car tuned. Most likely will have to drive it around for a few days prior to the tune though. This wont cause any damage will it?

You don't need those plates. The tsp headers dont have the air/egr tunes on them. As long as you tune them out you'll be good to go.

Don't think you need anything extra? Headers don't have the fittings and intake doesn't either. What's left to cap off?

Last i checked, TSP headers are race only. They have NO provisions for AIR or EGR.

Also, LS6 intake has no port for the EGR, so why would you need an EGR block off plate?

And no, driving it will cause no damage.

So the air and EGR are only connected to the headers and intake? There is nothing else that needs blocked at all? You are correct about the TSP headers having no provisions, and obviously the intake does not either. So all I will have to do is just remove the air pump?

Yep. You should only need to pull the pump and hoses, and any egr stuff that needs to go (2002, so I don't have egr to remove to know specifics). There won't be anything left to block off.
