October 4-7 this fall.

I've never been in October, but I've gone the past few May's...how does it compare?

smaller turnout but less traffic and less cops = more racing.

My friend says its a lot smaller but says its a lot less hectic so you can actually cruise, I'm planning on going again.

Fall is 10 times better. Less tourist so it makes it feel like there are ALOT more cars. As far as less cops go I don't know. If there are any cops its alot to me lol since I see a cop car once or twice a week in frederick lol but id like to hope ill be going to that one but things haven't worked out right for the las two fall cruises for me

The fall is a lot better the traffic is nowhere near as bad. You can actually get some decent racing in. Hopefully I will get my rear fixed and be back in the fall.

I personally won't be racing and I have a slow car anyway. I was more curious about "cool" car turnout. I expected less traffic since nobody goes to the beach in October.

Fall show is awesome, not as much people on the sidewalks watching and encouraging people for burnouts. I heard the cops stepped it up a bit last year. Plan to book my room early so that it's not sold out before I get to book like in years past.

The cop turnout last year had a LOT to do with that supra smacking the side of that building the week before.

And plenty of nice cars do show up, but the Fall show is open to all years performance, and hot rods.

I was at the Fall cruise two years ago and stayed at Castaways. Lots of fun. The bay water was actually still warm, too. But, the beach in OCMD was full of people fishing.

About the same volume of cops and less traffic/minivans.

theres more real race cars in the fall... but it is the same week as the yellowbullet shakedown so who knows whats gonna be there... I personally thought there would have been more shit at the spring show and not just posers and diesel trucks

I don't go to see the show cars. I'd imagine there is a similar turnout like Spring for that.

From midnight until 2 it was dead last year. My guess is 2 is shift change because on the strike of 2 a lot of racing happened.

The fall show is just as good if not better than the spring IMO. As everyone else stated, less traffic. Cruising is less crowded and more fun. I'll be there for sure.

I'm sure I'll be down with a group that saturday at least, maybe stay saturday night. Doubt any of us will stay the whole weekend though. Lol by that point in the year we've used most of our vacation time.

when i went to the spring show this yr i took my girls hyundai leopard steering wheel cover and all lol last minute trip and my car was still off the road.

I have a little issue with my g8 but I should have it ready well before the date, would definitely like to meet up and cruise with some people if they stay at carousel...in may I had to go lurking solo.

I don't have any specific times yet, but whatever day my group goes down, we always meet at the Rt 10 Wawa, right off of Rt 1 in DE by the air force base and cruise down together. We normally have a mixed bag of imports and domestics.

Chances are it'll be Friday afternoon, or Saturday morning.

But anyone who lives in the area, or anyone who's taking Rt 1 south to OC is more than welcome to join us and make the cruise group bigger.

I bought mine from a guy on this forum from York but it was to big and it said "I'm here for the stang bang!" I have an extra one if your interested. I had felches in Hanover make me one that just says "Stang Bangin!" Looks a lot cleaner

Just booked at the Mallard Apartments which is in between 6th & 7th street facing Baltimore Avenue. Bunch of us are staying there mostly mustang people tho. Hope to see everyone there!

I stayed here in May, as well. I liked it, except for the lack of available parking when we'd come back late at night after cruising all day. The restaurant next door was cool about letting their lot be used as overflow.

Also, my group was in the arcade room all day on the Sunday of the cruise (rainy outside), drinking and playing Daytona USA.

Dont see why more people dont use homeaway and vrbo. I just dont like hotels/motels.

Find a nice house with a garage parking!

FYI ive done the full weekend for under 200 a room. As long as you have the friends to fill the other rooms your good to go.

Lol yeah well be up on 81st bayside the Rivendal them condos are real nice. They were advertised as 1/2 million dollar condo up on the sign in may crazy price for a condo but we like staying there cause the bomb ass rooms and the indoor parking garage.

If you are talking about the Sea Bonay by 28th street, I stayed there a couple years ago and it was a hole. It smelled bad and made me feel like I was downtown Balto. All the hoodlums were there.

I think the Food Lion Lot on 120th is great. Whiskas bar is back in the shopping center and Burger King is there and the liquor store on 194th is well within walking distance. Put some rum in the BK large drink with diet Coke and all is well and no one knows the wiser!

Yea but problem is its just me and my buddy going down. Other buddies are going on a ''couples retreat'' weekend down there...So it may have to be a hotel room.

all depends. They have condos on those sites that are two bedroom.

For the bigger houses it obviously better with a larger group.

Going to make a day trip down on Sat. Probably leave PA around 10-11am and head home around 1-2am, all weather depending.

I just bought a second one...no matter what I raced I had the camera faced the wrong way...got the wifi bacpac's too so I don't have 5 hours of footage to sift through several times a day.

Renting a hotel is stupid. Get 2-3 other people. VRBO and hoemaway. normally under 200 a room for the long weekend. And MUCH better accomidations.

I had 11 people tell me they were coming and every single one backed out...only my gf will come and she's not really into cars...if I had a few people I would but people by me are afraid to cross a bridge.

I told the guy I had maybe ....MAYBE 3 hrs of recording before my 200 dollar purchase was stolen. So they ended up saying that they will give me 50% off my next purchase. So I have a option either to go with the original Hero, or I can upgrade to a Hero2 but the cost is doubled. 75 for the hero and 160 for the hero2 . Thing is I'd love to get the upgraded one but its cutting into my very large amount cash I need to save for my Monte swap for Spring OC Cruise.

Apparently my transmission will be done tuesday, so its gonna be a close call.

I think Carousel gives a discount for car clubs. We should just say we are part of the LS1tech club. When I am down I will see what kinda of info I can dig up for the Spring show. condo/townhouse is the way to go.

Place I stayed at in may is nice. Right along the 90 bridge. Kinda tucked back off the strip. Lots of parking. And the street is often used for burnouts. By the end of the weekend you couldnt see the pavement

Agree, but I get a house. Around $900-1000 Fri-Mon, 2-3 car garage, 4+ bedrooms, etc... Works out to under $200 a person for the weekend.

Same deal I normally find minus the garage. I gotta go where you do. We are staying in a 4 bdroom townhouse with covered parking. Wed night to sunday 700+fees and taxes. under 200 a room for the long weekend.

Did you have it out in spring, black I think it had a custom plate? Saw it at the carousel a few times, cant remember the plate or what state is was from tho.
