Greetings everyone....newbie to this site....has anyone done, or know if you can swap the 1.8 LS7 rocker arms in place of the 1.7's in the LS3? And if you can, do you need to swap the p/r's and springs also?....
All the GM parts sites that I have seen list the LS7 rocker arms for the 6.0, 7.0, and 6.2.
Thanks in Advance!

I know, the intakes on the LS3 are offset by .246" http://www.camarohomepage.com/ls3/page4.htm as per/this link, does the LS7 rocker have the same .246" offset?, and can it be intalled on the L92 heads?

the distance from the rocker bolt to the center of the valve tip is almost 1/4 futher on a ls7 head. I had a ls7 rocker in the shop I compaired it to a LS1

Tim, the OP was asking about LS-7 vs LS-3, but they are still different offsets...

It dosn't change that the ls7 rocker on the exh would overhang the valve tip by almost 1/4"
