There are plenty of other Z06's with over 700 on the stock bottom end. My 2000 Camaro is also procharged and makes 643 to the tire. Its all in the tuning and building them the right way.

Exactly. The misconception of "an LS1 can't hold over 550" is hindering each of us from being able to sale our cars. If people wanted to do a little research, they wouldn't be so scared.

GLWS, I making making around 500whp on a stock bottom end and no issues. My buds TTi vette made over 700whp in his Z06 and set many records for stock short block from the valve springs to the stock cam, heads etc.

Nothing against your car, Its more then likely because you are on stock internals with stock trans / clutch and diff.... Just because you got a blower and make 700 hp doesnt mean its gonna sell.... Most guys know its gonna take another 10+ grand in that car to make it hold that power and keep it safe....

People also need to realize unless you plan on beating the shit out of the car that's when stuff will break. I have no problem showing anyone and doing a comprsssion check. The motor is solid and hasnt been abused. I'm selling the car what it's worth. There are plenty of corvette guys doing what I'm doing all day for years and don't have a single issue. Its when you bring the car to the track when you start having problems.

Just sold my 2001 Z06 with D1SC making over 700whp also. It had 116k on the clock. There is no magical hp limit where the bottom end is going to give out. The LS1/6 are far stronger than they are given credit for.
