Default Took the Monte to the track!!

Whupped up on my BIL's 68 Mustang with a built 302
Long story short, great MPH, decent ET's

Tale of the tape

Run 1: 14.101 @103.06 2.206 60'
Run 2: 14.020 @102.34 2.177 60'
Run 3: 14.056 @102.52 2.223 60'

I think I need to do more work on my launches, They were not up in smoke, but also probably not agressive enough.. the temps were in the high 80's and muggy, so that didn't help either. I definetly can tell the Hogan and Magnaflows helped on top end!! I picked up 6 mph from last year!!

My GXP has gone personal bests of 13.84 @ 101.7 on a 2.07 60ft on riken raptors lowered to 15psi (still spinning)...only mods are catless 3" Dp, custom full 3" into dual 3" catback, and custom fabbed CAI kit clone with headlight out.

With a trunk full of crap and the headlight in it went 13.92 @ 100.7 on a 2.09 60ft with full pressure in the same riken raptors...

Car needs suspension work and better rubber/launch. The traps indicate a mid 13 easily...

Awesome trap speeds for a bolt-on car! Definitely should be into the mid 13's with some practice!

Those Riken Raptors are junk. I'm stuck with them on my Camaro and totally regret the purchase. Car doesn't launch for ****, and cornering is abysmal.

I'm sure you'll get better runs with a halfway decent tire.

Sorry about that

1st run 14.20
2nd run 14.30
3rd run 14.08 (in the dark @10:00 PM)

All his trap times were in the 98-99mph range

Thanks Mike!!! I am still running a modified stock airbox with a K&N dropin and of course........ the Lew 93 Octane tune, in its 10th iteration!! (we have been working on it!!)...

I cannot complain one bit the car is one Damn fast Daily driver, that still knocks down great MPG's

Nice runs. I'm thinking of taking mine to run sometime in the near future.
