Default 1996 Roe supercharged viper GTS vs 2002 procharged 383 C5 Z06 **VID**

Had a bad *** run this weekend with two nasty *** street cars. Just a freindly run between the two, but there was some confusion and we couldn't hear beeps so the vette took a slight hit. If they stayed in it a bit more through 5th gear I think the viper would have come back pretty good. Rematch is pending!

1996 Viper GTS: Roe racing supercharger @ 10 psi, berringer headers, random tech exhaust with dynomax race mufflers, 3.55 gears, 671 RWHP

2002 corvette Z06: built 383, procharger D1 at 15 psi, bolt ons, 708 RWHP

Good run.. I still think would have won, without a jump.

The vettes no joke either way, but I think it would have been much closer with an even start. That viper makes gobs of torque throughout the entire powerband!

I've run a roe s/c viper before making 699hp and 707tq and it wasn't close anymore halfway through 3rd.

Meaning he pulled or you pulled? Judging by the vid, the viper seemed like it had a much stronger 5th gear than the vette. Wish we could have run it out longer, but there was a slight bend in the highway that they let out for.

It's the same viper good2go is racing in his vid. I started pulling the viper pretty hard halfway through 3rd gear. I make 715hp and 583tq.

The vette def has a bit of a weight advantage. Wonder what gearing that guys viper had? I know with the stock 3.08 gears, 5th gear isn't anywhere near as useable as with the 3.55's like the one in my vid had. Both nasty cars either way, but that V10 torque is unbelievable!
