1/4 mile time
hey guys i have a few questions. i have a 98 camaro z28 and i just took it to the strip and ran a 13.7... its a 6speed..... what i have done to car... its a stock motor with a 212/216 cam in it. its not big but didnt have the money to upgrade springs... lt pacesetters, catless ypipe, slp maf, slp lid, stage 3 clutch, tick master cylinder, 3.73s, stock 16in street tires... think thats all... had trouble with traction... i do have a video of me going down the track... you can hear plain as day me chirping 3rd and 4th... losing alittle traction there... i know theses cars are suppose to run faster then this stock. had it tuned on a mustang dyno, heard these dynos arent accurate. guy said it made 326hp? ill get video up later

That's a really small cam, 202/210 is the stock numbers it's smaller then then gm Hotcam, 218/227, and really not any better then a z06 cam either really when you think about it 204/218. With your LS1 Intake its probably choking it up some as well, I say change to an LS6 intake, and If you can get the cash, go with a bigger cam. Also with street tires, and an M6, I'd say, your HP matches your ET.
What was your 60' and your DA?

silver.. density altitude.. just find your trac and the date. The calculator will work from there for the da. You can then enter your e/t and mph and see what it was corrected.

I would be cautious if the car has a decent amount of mileage (over 50k miles) the stock springs are crap. The ls1 I got for my swap was stock and the springs had been weak for a while so the stock cam was ruined from valve float.
If I were you I would at least shell out for some ls6 springs as soon as possible. A sponsor should be able to hook you up for $60-70 for a set.
