Default Cobra T56 **** rethread will PAY!!!!

Hi I bought a cobra **** and as we all know it doesn't fit a stock trans am shifter. My grandfather on vaction for a couple weeks and locked his shop up plus he lives two states over lol. But I was looking for someone who could rethread to fit. Is pay for shipping plus labor. No offense to anyone but looking for someone with a good reputation on this site. I can use paypal. Thanks for your time

I don't think you can rethread your ****, but you can buy another stick and have it rethreaded or you can buy an aftermarket shifter that is already threaded for it. For example the MGW comes with a shifter stick already threaded for the mustang thread pitch. When I bought mine years ago that's what I did.

You can re thread shifters or shafts, if you have the proper taps and dies. I have done both on my car. I rethreaded a shift **** before I bought my MBA and then I shortened my B&M shifter and had to rethread that as well.

You dont need to fill it. The cobra uses a smaller shaft you just need the proper drill bit and tap.
