I just got an S60 with 1/2-20 studs. Will any acorn style lugnuts in 1/2 work? Stock wheels

Can you even get accorn or bulge accorn lug nuts in 45%? I thought they are all 60%. You should be able to use any regular accorn 1/2"-20 on your stock wheels-that is if you did'nt get longer studs. Then your gonna need open end lug nuts -still 60% conical seats.I think bulge accorn nuts are actually recommended for alloy wheels. You should be able to find either type easily.

I dont mind running open ends. I have 3in studs I believe, have to check. The 60 angle is what I needed to know. What is the difference in bulge and standard? My stock wheels I run 90% of the time are ZR1s, 17x9, my ET streets are on 16x8 salad shooters. Thank you.

The bulge nuts have a round "bulge"on the end of the nut. They would have a little more area on the wheel I guess and they are a little longer so a few more threads.I have 3" studs on my 12 bolt rear and need the open end.I just replaced 10 spoke ss wheels with some Billet Specialties wheels and picked up some chrome bulge open end nuts at Pep Boys.BTW if your wheels use the plastic lug nut covers like my 10 spokes did you can get 1/2" o.e. style lug nuts that have the outside threads for the plastic covers.

Any 1/2-20 acorn style lug nut should work. I believe most stock wheels all use a 60 degree conical seat.

I have lugs for the aftermarket rears with the bigger studs that are identical to the factory ones, but with the 1/2-20 thread. Look just like oem and still accept the plastic caps.

I also stock most of the other combinations needed in zinc and chrome finish in both standard and metric thread.
