I watched him pull a 06ish gsxr1000 right before we ran... I'm gonna put some 150 jets in it and give it another go. I'm sure he's still gonna walk the shit out of me on the top end though

First run he was still coming up on me and still would have pulled, just wouldn't have looked as bad as it does if I had some gear left lol. Second run he passed me around 115 so I still had some gear left. That z is just a monster.

Lol, don't think my stock trans would like that too much although I'd like to throw a 200 at it. I'm gonna see how it holds with the 150 and go from there. It's got 3.73's I really don't wanna go any lower.

Not sure what tires he is running, there aftermarket wheels... I believe he ran 10.80's on them with a crappy launch.

I wish I could help you but the gears were already in the car when I got it....

I figured you had a shot to at least take the lead at the start (which you did) and that he would eventually quit spinning and overtake you (which he did). The C6Z should drop down to some 18" wheels and 345/35/18 ET Streets II...at his power level it would be hook & book. Nice vids.

I raced a stock C6 Z06 when my Z28 was heads/cam/100 shot. At the track I had 4 mph on him, but from a 40 roll I was only able to edge him out.

I'm Making right over 500whp and a stock C6 z06 w/ cat back walked me up top by a few car lengths (30 to 100 we were even)... god damn their top end and gearing.

Your N2O torque boost, coupled with your converter and auto trans kills the Z from the start - almost like he is in the wrong gear. Unfortunately he still probably has near 600 rwhp, a lot less weight to be pushing and more friendly top end gearing. Time and top end are on his side.

Run him from a dig for 1320 feet and see how it comes out. Your N2O and stall should be a huge advantage for your.

A buddy with a C6 and some bolt-ons has been playing some locally....sent a vid from phone showing how it pulled from 4500 and up Vs. 3000 and up....Really likes the RPMs, tach just flys.

Yes he was pulling up on you but not THAT fast until you ran out of gear on the first run... The second run was more indicative of where yall were really at.... Sure he passed you in high gear but...Not THAT bad...and then as soon as he put 2 cars on you he quit...
